Competition Times

OPEN JUMPING DERBY - SUNDAY OCTOBER 11

 

The draw for the Open Jumping Derby is now available.

 

Gates open at 8am and the course will be available to walk from 8:45

On arrival, everyone must sign in at the club rooms. This includes riders, support people and spectators.

Please practice good hand hygiene (hand sanitser will be available at the club rooms) and social distancing at all times. We will have Covid Marshals on the day, and anyone not abiding by these rules will be asked to leave the grounds.

All non MDRC members must sign a waiver before riding. these will be available at the club rooms.

All competitors must wear their assigned number when competing. This number can be worn on the horse or the rider, or both. Number armbands are available at the club rooms if required.

Dress code is official club uniform, cross country attire or shirt and jacket, along with white or beige jodhpurs, approved riding boots and helmet. Horses are welcome to be plaited, but it is not essential.

All horses must wear front boots when jumping. Back protectors are highly recommended for all riders.

FOOD AND DRINKS

Soft drinks, water and chocolate bars will be available for purchase, but there will be no BBQ or hot food available. There is a fabulous bakery just up the road if you get hungry

YARDS

If you have booked a yard, your name will be outside your allocated yard. If you need a chain, they are available at the club rooms, but please return them before you leave.

There will be some yards available on the day - free for Club Members, $10 for non-members.

FLOAT PARKING, WATER AND MANURE

Please ensure you park your floats neatly and close together, so there is room for everyone.

Water is available at the end of the shed, and please make sure all manure is placed INSIDE the club grounds before leaving.
