Obstacles with Lizzy Ritchie Equine Coaching

Lizzy Ritchie.jpg

MDRC is thrilled to announce our midwinter clinic at the beautiful Pottery Road Ponies arena, with our fabulous friend and supporter Lizzy Ritchie, from Lizzy Ritchie Equine Coaching.

Come along to learn how to safely introduce your horse to obstacles in this fun and confidence building environment.

This clinic is for horses of all ages and experience levels, and any riders/handlers that would like to gain confidence by adding to their skillset.

You’ll be provided with the tools to set your horse up for success when tackling a challenge.

• Maximum of 4 participants per 2-hour session.
• Each session starts with groundwork, and participants may progress to ridden if they wish.
• $60 per session plus $20 day membership for non-members.
• All riders must wear an approved helmet and flat soled riding boots.

• Participants are asked to help set up or pack away any equipment as required.
• All riders and spectators must abide by the MDRC Club Rules and Code of Conduct.

On Lizzy’s journey she has had access to some of the best mentors on offer both in Australia and around the world. Equine and human.

Having horses in training has led her to identifying a number of deficiencies in traditional training systems.

Lizzy now strives to share her passion and knowledge while guiding owners and horses on a wholistic path that seeks to ensure horses are functioning at their optimum mentally and physically.

The cornerstones of LREC training are Groundwork, Liberty, Saddle Foundations and Obstacles. Working through these important pieces, Lizzy aims to provide owners with the tools to not only identify and solve problems with their own horses but also develop harmonious, connected and confident partnerships.

Registrations close at 5:00pm Sunday 7 July 2024 unless full beforehand. Late entries will not be accepted.
